“You are what you love, not what loves you.”
-Charlie Kaufman, Adaptation
“The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love, and be loved in return.”
-Christain, Moulin Rouge
“But the heart’s not like a box that gets filled up. It expands in size the more you love.”
“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
-I John 3:16-18
What is your definition of love? What in your past has shaped that definition? How did your family define love when you were young? Has that changed through the years? What is your view of God’s love? What words come to mind? Unconditional? Conditional? Inclusive? Exclusive? Hopeful?

The Journey is TOGETHER–we journey together as a community, in loving, intimate, safe relationships with one another and God. The Journey is HOLY–we seek to live a lifestyle of sacred, intimate love with God. The Journey shows COMPASSION–we work together to bring good in the world by helping those Jesus described as “the least of these” and inviting people to join us in community.
