Teachings

Teachings are the way The Journey likes to communicate.

We don’t like to talk at each other, instead, we talk with each other.   There is not one teacher or one speaker with all the answers.   We understand that there is gray area that needs explored, understood, and thought through.  This, is what our teachings are.

Title: Keep Moving Forward (Romans 5:1-5)

Michael Noel, March 5, 2017
Part of the Emotionally Healthy Choices series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Sometimes in life we hit a wall and are unsure of where to turn. We try to make good choices, but we still struggle when life hits us sideways. This teaching looks at our ability to find hope in the midst of difficult circumstances. Take a listen and hold to the hope of God.

Romans 5:1-5

5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
