Visiting Us

What to expect— here are a few things that might help orient you when you visit The Journey Church.

Welcoming Community and Services at The Journey

The Journey offers nurturing environments for children with nursery and Kids Church, complimentary food and drinks, informal giving options, open communion, easy ways to get involved, and the choice to attend in-person or via live stream, all within a community where everyone is considered a member.

Nursery & Kids Church

If you have young children, they are welcome to stay in the service with you, but if you prefer, we have caring teachers to serve you in both the nursery and Kids Church (located in the west hallway).

  • Nursery available for ages 0-3

  • Kids Church is available for preschool – 5th grade

Complimentary Food
and Beverages

Please feel free to help yourself to some food and drinks before, during, and after service. All the food is complimentary, and you are welcome to bring food and drinks into the worship room with you.

Offering Baskets

There is no formal offering at The Journey. No plates or baskets are passed in the service. For those who would like to give, there are baskets on the floor at the back of the side aisles and on the silver tables in the hallway.

Communion Eucharist

We have a specific time for communion after the teaching each week. The Eucharist table is extremely important and is open to everyone. Feel free to participate in the Eucharist. Simply dip the bread into the wine or juice to take the Eucharist with us.

Getting Involved

If you would like information about The Journey, our groups, or our various ministries, please check out our information tables in the hallway or request more info.

Always a Member

You will not be asked to attend membership classes or to “join The Journey.” We do not have membership requirements at The Journey. Anyone who chooses to attend and participate in the community is considered a member.
